    I am new to the Playbook and am finding one thing particular a bit frustrating with the bridge - it keeps locking every few minutes and requires the password to be re-entered. I have removed any password from the Playbook, so this is the password for my bb9900.

    The phone is a work phone as I can't remove the password from it.

    Is there a way to keep the bridge connected (as long as the phone is within range) or is this something controlled by the company's IT policy?

    Most likely an IT policy that is blocking the use of the bridge on the PB.

    Nope. The IT policy locks your 9900 and so locks the bridge.

    best you can do is set the lock out for an hour (if your IT policy allows that length).

    If you use the bridge apps it tends to stay unlocked as if you were using the phone.
