Purchased another PB charging dock this one I want to stay stationary in the entertainment center.

    1. How does one keep the Playbook screen constantly awake showing the time on the native clock app?

    2. Will having the PB constantly on the clock screen for weeks and months to come cause screen burn in?

    3. Has anyone attempted to use a rotor drill to make a small hole on the bottom of the charging stand so the HDMI cable can be routed.

    4. Is there a clock app that will allow the PB to display the clock constantly without timing out.

In my search I read that I should open Origami Browser and let that stay open and it should keep the screen awake.

So far the only way I know how is to open Battery Guru, but that has to at least be showing on part of the screenn
I want the native or any clock to constantly show the time.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

There is a small circuit board in the way.

Upside down in a generic tablet stand using the corded rapid charger was my solution.

Thanks so much! Even though it was only 12 bucks I wouldn't have been happy to hit that circuit board.

From memory: They dock comes apart easy enough. Pull off the rubber pad and there are a few screws.
I'd like to know if you come up with a more elegant solution then mine.

Lol, I'm hoping there's some wiggle room in there somehow. It'll definitely be a weekend project I don't want to rush it.

Here are a couple picks of one I modified for my media setup. I am using the rapid charger and a swivel hdmi to micro hdmi.
