So what does refurbished actually mean? Do you trust these Playbooks to last?

They are not refurbs. They are Pre-Owned. Never broken.

People bought them and returned them.

My 16GB still had about 40 days of direct support on it and about 8 charges.

It says on cowboom "A Best Buy Brand".

This is for those lucky enough to get a 9 with no USB cable.

Works great for me. Bought one en ebay I think and it does not work. Square end...not the little curve on the micro end.
Can't find where I ordered it...But I can confirm the Amazon Sumsung cable works for data and charging on the PC.

I bought one a long time ago for my Samsung phone. It didn't work on my PB. I got it out. It does work when you twist it in the middle...connect...disconnect....

So any should work if they are good. Mine was bad and I didn't know it. It is not the one I linked too. It was a .99 from china job.

I wish I'd have gotten a 9....

Man, I am P.O'ed!!! I didn't do this deal, and the one I got off Amazon came today and it is a 16GB instead of the 32GB I paid for! Oh MAN!! And of course the deal is sold out now. Ugh!

Good for you guys getting a Playbook so cheap! For all of us who bought them a year ago and paid $500 - $600, RIM should have given us something so we wouldn't feel like we've been ripped off. How about a free accessory, or an app or something?
