    .......cannot make good on current advertised promises of delivery by Christmas any and all items advertised on their web sites, even if the items are listed as in stock and ready for delivery. This also applies to their signature "buy on the web and pick up in store today" BS. Apparently, they are having problems meeting the "unprecedented demand" for their products, even though they continue to make claims of availability on their web sites.

    Don't have a link, just reportage as brought to me via 3 television news programs.

    From the couple times I have ordered online from them in the past it's become clear they have real problems with their inventory management. Even though futureshop( here in canada ) is owned by best buy, I have had much better success with them.

    They really need to take a page out of the Zappo's "playbook." I ordered a pair of Sperry's for my 17 year old yesterday morning, free shipping, and I got them just a few minutes ago via Fed Ex.
