for some reason i cannot even bluetooth pair my PB and iphone let alone get to the next step of tethering for internet access, they find each other ok but my iphone just says "connection unsuccessful ,playbook xxxx is not supported.

any pointer please ?

Most Androids have wi-fi Hot Spot features. Use that to connect the Playbook to the internet.
