I have been getting a "internal camera error" after 30 seconds of video recording. Anyone experiencing this and is there a fix? Also, shutter seems slower now.

Have you either pressed and held the power button for 15 to 20 seconds (or used the battery icon RESTART)

or rebooted by pressing and hold all three at the same time: PowerOn, VolUp and VolDown.

And how much memory or space do you have left?

Unfortunately, I have tried all. Thinking of security wipe but really dont want the hassle of reinstalling apps, etc. Available memory is at 8GB.

    Does either front/rear/video cameras work?

But if you call rim, they will make you step through a wipe process before determining if it is a physical problem anyway. So you might get a jump on it. Although they may make you do in while on the phone, too.

How long have you had it? Is a return to the store possible?

Security wiped PB! All is well. Took me about 5 hours to re install all apps, etc. Camera a lot better...no more errors. Shutter is better, from 8 seconds to 2-4. It could be better but oh well. THANKS TO THE REPLIES.

Hopefully, it will continue to work. Yes, restoring all the files can be a slow process. (as a matter of fact, I'm backing up my Kindle3 at this moment just so I have my files - taking hours)

    Cool !
just a side-note, when a topic is solved, it could be nice to change its title and add a ":SOLVED" right after, so that when searching ... readers could go straight to solved issues ? (yes you loose thanks and like by editing it, but who cares ?)
