I am trying to install a bar file on my BlackBerry PlayBook. I have installed BlackBerry Desktop Manager, however it cannot connect to media files.
I have tried some other bar installers, from some other CB threads, but they don't seem to be supported by Windows 10. Is there any bar installers that will work?

idk what you mean by the zip but if you have the bar file just install it thru sachesi i dont think it has to be in zip format if thats what you meant i think you an just drag and drop

Just use Chrome and the PB App Manager extension... It's a doddle compared to other sideloading methods:

Sachesi works great. I personally hate chrome so Sachesi is what I use.
Hot Sachesi but it doesn't want to work with my PlayBook.

I have successfully installed some side loaded apps with Sachesi, however I get this message with every app:

Those apps you sideloaded are android apps that just will NOT work on the old Playbook android runtime (2.3 Gingerbread). Before you convert the apk to bar and sideload, have a look at the limitations of the apk itself. If they require newer than 2.3 then they absolutely will not work. Even many Gingerbread apks will not work. They may install correctly but you may get errors just as you see in your example above. So at this point, my advice is check the apk limitation, don't waste your time with anything newer than 2.3 android and then trial and error for everything else.
