Sorry but this one has me steaming!
"Blackberry OS 2.0 (current) is a 373, OS 2.1 soon to be released is a 393 and BB10 is a 447... IOS 6 is 360.... yea they sure are beating up the competition." <--(my post on imore)
They claimed that iOS 6 Safari 'still' beats the competition????? The only Blackberry OS they beat was Tablet OS 1.0
Congrats Apple on finally beating our 1.5 year old browser.08-11-12 01:31 AMLike 0 - Ok apparently the source imore used was wpcentral (where it was originally posted) and wpcentral updated the article just after iMore had posted. This made it seem like iMore purposely skipped Blackberry when all along they just needed to update the article. ALL IS GOOD NOW SO PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN.

I just think it slezzy of imore to title it like that and misinform 99.99% of the people that skim by it.I'll address it with the editors. I kinda know them.... lol

Sent from my BlackBerry Runtime for Android Apps using Tapatalk 208-11-12 09:05 AMLike 0 - Hey listen, that article tells us something very important in regards to iOS6 and Apple's current thinking. Clearly, they are concerned with the fact that they are trailing the pack in HTML rendering. 360 is decidedly mediocre and it once again reminds me that Apple appears to be struggling with its OS. I mean really, this is the best you can do with your new OS. It pretty much tells us there will be few if any surprises coming from Apple in September. My bet is that they will trot out the old retina display (blah, blah, blah) and tout the new 7 inch iPAD.
My bet is that BB10 will have plenty of surprises. I have a friend or two working in Waterloo and the rumors are quite interesting. Mr Hein's statement about building the most advanced communication platform across devices is quite telling. If what I heard is correct, RIM's timing for BB10 will be perfect.
Although one can't trust rumor's, if correct, RIM'S is about to turn the table in the mobile communication field. Mr Hein's, you will either be remembered as the goat or a clever, clever man. I think it will be the latter.morganplus8 and Stewartj1 like this.08-11-12 09:10 AMLike 2 - Rene RitchieiMore Editor In ChiefOk but apparently the source imore used was wpcentral (where it was originally posted) and on wpcentral they show that BB 10 "crushes" the competition, but imore skipped that part on their website. 1. WPCentral posted about Safari vs. IE
2. iMore linked to their post
3. Kevin started yelling about PlayBook

5. WPCentral updated
6. iMore hasn't yet but will today
Typically every time a major browser updates, it's the fastest until the next browser updates. IE might be a little more interesting because it's the only one not on WebKit now, but they're all so close it makes almost no difference to humans.
But we'll update to include the PlayBook as well, because Bla1ze as per usual kicked on his post.08-11-12 09:23 AMLike 5 - 08-11-12 10:26 AMLike 0
