it would be nice to have a full gesture supported android with the multitasking that bb10 has,
    not to mention better stability.

This is only a fun mashup.

I knowni have not said much here, because I want to know what everyone thinks

It's not like Google needs BlackBerry to implement gestures. The main aspect of buying BlackBerry from this standpoint would be the brand name, or if they want to completely change their OS to base it on QNX, which would be obviously positive with Google developpers working on it.

But there is no way that can happen, neither I would like to because I wish it to stay Canadian, eh!

I am canadian also but the current blackberry managment are prooving poor stewards of the blackberry brand unfortunitely and a buyout from google would be amazing for share holders

hell either native or google would fix the android runtime where as we would essentially have a syncronus dual boot.
full bb10 and android 4.2.2 running at the same time in full harmony

I will take it one step further with bb balance and secure workspace being cross platform imagine having a device where you want your secure workspace to run bb10 and your private workspace to be full android 4.2.2 with ui components and everything all on one device !

    now that's balance

Lenovo is the only tech company not bleeding cash and interested in growing its business smartphone portfolio to have expressed interest in BB, if nothing else just for the patent portfolio. I'm a big fan of the thinkpad line, but I doubt we would see QNX survive as a mobile consumer OS in any "blackberry dies" scenario.

A lot but the reason they are against the prism fiasco is they do not want the competition from the government.
