USB OTG !!
More codecs so I dont get the "not supported" message on a lot of my MKVs.
I would simply like the video player to remember where I stopped a movie so I didn't have to scroll and find my place every time. Now that would make me a happy camper...
Pixel density must be doubled to 340.

i would like to change the OS to BB10 :D
Better screen. This low res POS gives me a headache to read on. 1024x??? Was great 3 years ago but it's brutal today.
And if I could change a second thing it would be able much better android player with 'modern' compatibility including v4.1 support and direct hardware access so most apps work instead of the meager handful of v2.3.3 apps that are dying with every new app release.

Two things:
1. USB on the go.
2. Move the USB charging port to the side of the device, so that I can charge it while it is sitting in an upright position.
Russ.
The web browser is still slow and I get lots of checkerboarding. I do have 2.1 installed.
I think 2.1 was a major improvement in general usability as far as minor releases go. :)
Digital Volume button somewhere. When on sites like youtube or whatever, using the volume slider on the video doesn't affect anything unless use mute.
Had to think for a second, then I realized the one most-needed feature that the PlayBook doesn't have:
It's not an Autobot.

Are you serious? Everyone raved about the screen a year ago.
my browser is faster than ever
Link "Send to" option within the browser.
The USB OTG update is apparently coming out with BB10
Number one: data transfer without Internet. So send/receive contacts, schedules, media files, documents over Bluetooth to open the path to other handheld devices. And Streaming with DLNA within Wifi network.
Others:
MicroSD Slot
Better media Gallery (sort options, ...)
Better Stock File Manager (sort, presenting main parts of files system, not only collective view of 4 file types)
Bookmark Management
These are my main points.
Ray
Even RIM agrees withe micro SD - their own demo video claims there is one (listen at the 1:05 mark)! Of course, I gave up looking for it a while ago...
BlackBerry PlayBook: Explore tablet hardware
BBM (in PlayBook & smartphones) should allow live video camera feeds.

There is a trick that works on any browser on any mac or PC, which consists in bookmarking the following javascript line:
javascript:document.location='mailto:?subject='+do cument.title+'&body='+escape(document.location);
Alas, I just tried to bookmark it in SimpleBrowser+ (the only one I use, for adfiltering) and it apparently fails. Anyone having more success?
H.
The keyboard lag since the 2.1 update does suck.
I wish to use the device memory & memory card of a BB smartphone from BB PlayBook & vice versa. Not sure if its possible now.

I would like my Playbook to orientate itself from my swipe gesture from stand by.
Coming out of stand-by I always swipe left to right.
Because most of the time, whether because it is on charge or the case, I use it upside down. So the screen is upside down, but because it is flat on my desk, I then have to tilt it to up right it. Confused?!?
Pretty minor really, as I really like my Playbook.
I would put the iPad evernote app on it
If that doesn't count because it isn't directly playbook, then I would just add RAM
Open up the usb port. I want MIDI on this thing. That is all.
1. Native music player blows. Put some actual effort into it. And allow it to use bridge to include your phone's library of songs.
2. If I read something in native email, mark it as read in bridge email.
3. Speakerphone over bluetooth. That's great I have an incoming call... Now where's my danged phone..
4. Minimize apps. I'd like to keep things like email and bbm open all the time like I do on my phone.
