How about making all applications and games available now in PlayBook's BlackBerry World free?

Afterall, there is no use for them either...

Why yes, that makes perfect sense. The Playbook (maybe) isn't getting another update (which of course, makes the current OS completely useless), and therefore all the app developers who have put in effort into making apps no longer deserve to get paid for their work.

[In case you can't tell, this is sarcasm.]

I am happy if the BB10 does not come to Playbook. It is not the OS we miss today. I miss some top notch apps to work as it should. I really want an alternative Video chat cross platform. I am not sure if BBM will solve the problem. If yes, then I need very good reading Apps such as Kindle, Flipboard, Pulse available natively and fully supported. Today I have to Sideload them.

OK, so you are happy that BB10 does not come to PlayBook but you missed those applications that should come to PlayBook...

The fact is, there wound be "zero" chance that those applications would come to PlayBook if our PlayBook will be totally ditched...

You have just got to be kidding me with that one!!!!!!!!! That's like asking someone to exchange their Lotus for a Fiat Uno!

    That's the point!

So BlackBerry will be forced to push BB10 to PlayBook... instead of exchanging it with Z10 or Q10...

IF BBRY decides to ditch the PB, iam sure they will have more difficulties if they want to introduce a new tablet. NO one will have faith in BBRY again!

I dont think that would be a decision of BlackBerry. Majority of the paid apps are published on App World by different vendors... However, I do see a downward trend of app downloads/purchases on BlackBerry World...

Well, after patiently waiting for BB10 to come to PB I've given up.

Couple if weeks ago I bought a Nook HD+. I promptly stuck an Android for Nook micro SD in it ($10.00 download) and now I have a very nice Jellybean 4.2 tablet that pairs nicely with my Galaxy S2.

I've still got an S2 because I've held off buying a Z10 until BB release BB10 for the PB. It looks like it's not going to happen, so BB have lost me.

I maybe could have continued with the PB but the browser is so bad that its ridiculous. If BB aren't going to release BB10 for PB they should at least fix that. Without a decent browser the PB is already a brick.

BB don't seem to understand that a stand-alone phone system just isn't enough, these days they need an ecosystem to survive.

Well, congratulations BB, you've lost me.

BB has lost quite a lot of customers. I decided not to keep the z10 they gave me at Orlando due to their arrogance with the PlayBook update.
