It comes with FLASH ... brilliant for playing TV shows online. I have a Kindle Fire ... and you need to perform an elaborate ritual when the moon is full and blue in order to get Flash on it ... but my PB comes with Flash and works fab. And it goes to work with me every day and allows me to access forbidden websites lol, using my 9900's 3G connection.

And best of all, it was not as expensive, and is nowhere near as hideous, as an Apple product!

No ... By forbidden I meant inaccessible such as the Crackberry forums or Youtube.

That's right! When "No Updates" were announced for the Playbook, NOBODY cried about the "porn" thingy.......

    It must already be working!

Hey, I enjoyed my PB on my recent vacation. Browsing, no matter what browser was a tad delayed. And at one motel I could not connect to their wifi and my room was not that far from their office but I was able to use my 9930.

But what I don't like is the loss of support for Bridge APPS in the new bb10 phones. I will certainly not race out and pay good money for a bb10 that does not provide the full functions I'm use to. While on this vacation while browsing or watching a video or what have you, the phone was charging elsewhere and when I got an email my pb knew about it and delivered to me from my phone and I could reply at the pb. My phone's calendar reminded me of some stuff and similarly the pb dealt with it. No SEPARATE calendars to sync and no SEPARATE email to deal with and no duplication on the phone and pb. Obviously, the "loss" of any hope of getting/using bb10 apps was also an extreme disappointment from a disappointing company.

RIM has really blown it as far as I'm concerned. They screwed the pb on release. They continued to screw it during the last two years and completed the screw job most recently by totally abandoning the platform.

And, no, I personally don't believe there will be any updates to the pb for any purpose. And I will humbly apologize if I'm proved wrong. As I jokingly said before, the only update I think we would receive would be one that takes away the UPDATE button and screen.
