    I'm not a fan of anything Microsoft but having used the Surface RT for testing over a three week period I actually came away impressed with it. It's stylishly built and reasonably fluid in its operation although the lack of some applications and missing functionality is a tradeoff that one should bear in mind.

    just an FYI, the lack of APPS is no longer an issue. Just the last couple of months MS has added 10,000 new apps/games to the MS store, while yes there isn't as much as IOS and Droid but I'm sure there is anything/everything that anyone will need/want! keep in mind that MS has just started in the tablet business and just like apple when it JUST started there wasn't much there...
