Apps like zinio, wikipedia? I think it would be best to post some links or name of apps that would benefit from this. I mean not all people here are knowledgeable about the use of this html5 result. Cheers!
it means BlackBerry is the best of the best . higher the better. it also means better ability for browsing and apps (webworks)
Sent from my BlackBerry Dev Alpha
Matters little when the consumer doesnt know.
Does the market even know what rim is doing outside of seeing their stock price plummet? They have done well ditching deadbeats from the payrolls and getting more efficient but now their failure continues to be marketing. As in they have virtually none. Alright, we all know about apple's "new" ipad. Does the consumer see commercials and advertising for new blackberry products?
And dont say "too early", or "its coming", if new devices are to be out anytime this year the time to advertise them is now.
This is a measure of compatibility not performance, this states that PB OS 2.1 beta has the highest compatibility of a mobile browser, and that BB10 will (at this time) have highest over all. Performance is something completely different.
Maybe I'm just the anomaly here, but. 1032 did have 393 as a score while. 1088 boosted it up to 411.
I know I'm not inventing or dreaming it.
As for a simple explanation on score meanings: the higher the number, the more HTML5 features supported. For example, the Dev Alpha's BB10 browser supports every HTML5 feature needed for video chat (and MS Skype over HTML5).

That's what I thought when I resurrected this thread, then I tried the html5 test on my wife's 1032 version and got the same 411 score. Interesting that simplebrowser and rim browser both get the same score now where simplebrowser had a slight edge before.
