How would you need a tutorial to type on here?

The bridge app tells you want to do when you first bridge the pb after the update. Having said that I did install my update with a security wipe.

Simply connect bridge in remote mode and tap away.

Just managed to use BB Curve 8900 keyboard and trackball to control Windows 7 desktop. Connected BB phone via Bluetooth to Windows 7, went to BB phone Bridge, selected Remote Control, hey presto, was controlling the desktop, opened MS Word by using trackball as mouse and typed with phone keyboard. couldn't replicate it. Each other time I've tried, it defaults to BB PlayBook. Any ideas how to do it again?

No option for this on my Curve, and BB bridge is up to date on my phone. I have OS2.0 on the PB.

How can I use my phone as a keyboard and mouse for my tablet?

One thing to keep in mind is that when you first open remote control you have mouse control. Once you start typing the screen on the phone changes and when you're finished typing hit escape to give you mouse control again.

    @EdS817

Where is remote control on the Curve menu?

Here are my options on the Bridge:

    BB Bridge: on
    Paired PB tablet: (mine)

If I click then on menu:

    Check for Update
    Disable Bridge
    Add New Tablet
    Disconnect
    Device Properties
    Switch Application
    Close

    NO remote control

If you use the alt and shift key you can scroll until you touch a key or the space bar.

Seems like I was meant to have this one tough.

Your Curve screen is nothing like mine. If I could see what you see, I would know where to go from there, definitely.

Oh well, I will try to unhook / unpair Curve and PB when I have a minute and see if the thing happens when I re-pair / re-hook...

Any other hint will be welcome.

As I said on previous post:

"No option for this on my Curve, and BB bridge is up to date on my phone. I have OS2.0 on the PB."

I don't remember seeing this when I updated...

Just triple checked. Bridge is up to date.

Will try uninstall Bridge and install again. I did that recently cause I had a pairing problem with PB, but was it before OS2.0? Hum... don't know...

    These guys have Bridge 2.0.

My Curve has 1.0.7.5, and says it's up to date when I check for updates.

I am deleting Bridge and reinstalling.

    Still waiting...

    Magic... Remote is there!

Well you could have tried ALT - R S T to refresh your Appworld to show up.
That's what i have done. Didn't have any notification showing for an update.
I needed to go to the BlackBerry Bridge Application for the update.
Glad that you have solved it anyways. Now go enjoy the nifty feature.
