How to remove battery from metal casing inside housing on a Blackberry Playbook?

I have an older model playbook and just received a new battery for same. Cannot find a video that shows battery replacement and the tear down ones I have found do not explain how to separate the battery from the housing.. Would like to have same figured out before I start to take apart. Thanks for your help folks. Stay Safe.

Coffee got spilled on my Playbook and before I realized it liquid got inside. It's toast now so I'll try anything to see if it can be resurrected. I've taken it apart and will try to clean it. What do you recommend - distilled water, alcohol? JG

As a last resort a high grade alcohol is what I'd try.

But I'd try to pull out the display so your not soaking it, and not the battery.
