    Hi,
My children have a play book that I install BB Bridge OTA so that they can browse the web via my company BlackBerry Torch while traveling with me.

However, i do not want to have my company emails sync with the playbook.

Is there an option to set what can be sync'ed between BB and PB?
    Thanks,
    Xeu

If your plan allows you can use the tethering option instead.

Your corporate email is NOT synchronized with the BlackBerry PlayBook. That is the whole point of bridge-mode - to keep corporate data on the smartphone but use the tablet as a display for that data. Once the bridge connection is stopped the corporate email cannot be accessed because it resides on the smartphone not the tablet.

Put a password on your phone and you will have the internet connection available to the apps that can use it, but your bridge apps will be locked. If your kids open a bridge app like email, it will prompt for the password.

I just tested it with my locked phone and posted this message using the bridged internet of the phone.
