I paid $199.99 for a 64GB one 2 years ago for one brand new in box at Office Depot.
It still works wonderfully for me.
Beautiful screen and the sound is great.
Camera works great.
I have gone a bit overboard with accessories though.
But I do tend to do that with my tech gear.

My Mom has the 16GB one and still uses it at least 5 or 6 days a week.
Never had a problem with it either.
It is her only 'computer' so she uses it for everything, email, Facebook, looking up stuff, YouTube, taking pictures.
She loves reading her books on it.
She would probably pay $75 to $80 for another 16GB PlayBook brand new in box.

Unfortunately, that is the truth. It is hard to believe that I spent 700 dollars on release day, and now it has almost no value. I guess I am not the brightest, because I still frequent the forums, hoping for something good to happen, even though there is pretty much zero chance of that.

I wouldnt buy a regular wifi version. I'll only consider the LTE version for now

Yea but it dropped in value pretty rapidly compared to other tablets. If it did even half of what the iPad does in retaining it's value I'd be happy.

It never was fully supported, so it lost value extremely fast. I never got the use out of it that I could have due to that reason. I used to be a Blackberry nut, but of course now, I would not even buy a Blackberry accessory, much less a device. RIM/Blackberry basically sh*t on their customers, and the avid supporters are willing to overlook that. I am not able to do that. People, including myself are waiting/hoping for a real update, which may never come. The hardware that the tablet has is still competitive, even three years later, which is amazing, with the proper support, it would still be a very useful tablet. Does my Note 10.1 run circles around it? Of course it does. Does it feel as comfortable as the Playbook felt, no. That is the problem, I got used to the intuitive swiping and gestures, and I really liked it. I am disgruntled, and rightly so. Will I get over it, yes, eventually. I would sell my Playbooks, but I am still hoping for something (root, updates, whatever). I still like my Blackberry Storm 2 also, so I guess I am strange. It serves as an alarm clock most days, but it is also my emergency back up phone, which I have had to use twice in the last two years. I never got to play with the LTE version of the Playbook, that would have been interesting.

Back on point, the Playbook is probably worth from 10 to 100 dollars depending on condition. Mine are not for sale, yet.
