Does anyone know how to get the full version of google calender? When I try to view it, all I get is the text version, which is pretty horrible in my opinion.

Here's what I did for my Playbook. I entered this url:

and made a bookmark and added the shortcut to my Home Screen.

Seems to work pretty well for me. I think the trick is using the direct url above to bypass browser detection (Playbook apparently defaults to mobile version).

    Hope this helps.

    It worked!!!

Note: It wasn't working for me at first. YOU MUST ALREADY BE LOGGED INTO GOOGLE. THEN, enter that URL and it will take you to the full version.

That's been bothering me for months. Thank you.

    You're welcome.

Another simpler url to try might be "https://www.google.com/calendar/render?gsessionid=ok"

I tend to run my browser in Private mode as I occasionally use it for work-related test items, so when I go to either link I've shown, I get an email/username challenge, which I enter, and then get directed to the "desktop" calendar site. I do not have to first log into Gmail/Google for it to work for me. I have noticed though that if I go to another Google/Gmail link, say Documents, then click back on Calendar that I do of course get sent to the mobile version of Calendar instead. Exiting and restarting the Home Screen shortcut when that happens puts me back in the desktop version, so clearly Google has some detection in their links within a given logon session.
