    currently running os version 2.1.0.1917. i need to install the android market on my playbook. any help with this guys i will appreciate it.

    You can't "root" the playbook OS. Maybe a really early version was rootable, but doubt it would be very functional.

    I find that if you put it down into some good potting soil and keep it well watered it should start rooting in a couple of weeks. I have a nice blackberry bush from last year that produced some excellent Z30s
