I'm very new to Playbook. Had Blackberry phones for years and I thought I'd once downloaded a special pdf thing like docs to go on the phone ... but can't seem to find it. I have an email with a pdf attached/ Can view it in Adobe viewer. Want to be able to save it, file it (AIR Browser installed) and email it to others.
Swipe down from top, no save icon. How else to do this??
And how does the PB tie up with the phone in terms of files, please?
    Thank you

To save an attachment to an email, open the email, then don't tap on the attachment but tap and HOLD on the attachment. A dialogue will pop up. Choose "save as". The attachment will be saved to your Downloads folder.

    Brilliant, thank you very much!
Is there a good source of info like this without asking separate questions?
(although I'm about to ask another one ...)

There is a help icon on the PlayBook that has a lot of useful information for a new user. Searching the various PlayBook forums can help also. If you can't find what you're looking for just ask.

I can't attach the User Guide for some reason but if you Google PlayBook user guide you can download it.

One potential limitation - if you are using Bridge for Email, downloads generally save on the PHONE and not the pb.
