    I want to give my Playbook to a friend and want to remove all of my info, but have a read a lot of problems with losing all the apps if you do a factory reset. Advice?

    If you do a factory reset, you will lose all your apps, but they are tied to your BlackBerry ID. So if you wanted you got re download them.

    Other default apps will still be there. A factory reset is the only way to remove all the id's and logins etc.
    Your friend will have to create a BlackBerry ID and purchase apps under that ID.

    As hamsterwheel pointed out, your apps are tied to your Blackberry ID.
    You can't both remove your ID and keep the apps.
