But I can't see how to get BB10 loaded onto my PB. It doesn't show as a software update (I've checked a few times today). Do I have to manually download it? If so where do I get it from?

right now you cant do that. its sort of like how a lot of android devices get updates at different times.

In case you missed it, there was a big launch event for BlackBerry 10 this morning in 6 countries all across the world. The way I understand it, it went pretty well; except for that whole "lack of actually launching the product" thing...

just keep checking buddy. its a great distraction from checking your resources and believing rumors. just think, if you check for an update one more time it might just come.

I have it on my playbook as I type. contact RIM through email and request the download. you can also call their resource dept directly but the wait time is about 45 mins. the number is 800-453-6253 just in case you wanted to give them a call.

You'll need to download the Flex Capacitor from App
World, not BlackBerry World.

Aww...I feel bad for the OP...he or she is a newbie....there was another thread on how we shouldn't scare anyone away and just try to be helpful...to the OP...the update was not released yet for the Playbook although it was confirmed it will get it...no timeframe was given.
