I sold a sim card ready playbook on ebay. Now the customer wants to return it because he can't activate it on t-mobile without an imei number and I no longer have the original box. How do I get an imei number for him?

Should be on the device under the SIM card slot in tiny letters.

Thanks for your quick replies. Customer says the sticker with the number should be right by the sim slot and has been removed. I bought it new and certainly didn't remove it. Guess I'll have to wait until he returns it to see.

Is your customer using a data only SIM card?

I use a UK GiffGaff data only SIM just fine but not so if I try using a phone/ data SIM.
