Does anybody know how to create more than one playlist on PB?
Thank you.
You should be able to select a song or artist then swipe down from the top of the PlayBook to reveal options. There you can add or edit. I hope this helps.
Looks like you can only create one playlist.
I must have mis-posted. I thought I had answered this earlier.
I created playlists on my computer that I copied over to the pb.
While my music is located in subfolders on the pb under the music folder, it does not affect the playlist/format. The files are in:
\music\Dvorak New World
Here's one's innards:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:430,Dvorak American Quartet 05 - 'American': Allegro Ma Non Troppo
Dvorak American Quartet\Dvorak American Quartet 05.mp3
#EXTINF:478,Dvorak American Quartet 06 - 'American': Lento
Dvorak American Quartet\Dvorak American Quartet 06.mp3
#EXTINF:228,Dvorak American Quartet 07 - 'American': Molto Vivace
Dvorak American Quartet\Dvorak American Quartet 07.mp3
#EXTINF:309,Dvorak American Quartet 08 - 'American': Finale-Vivace Ma Non Troppo
Dvorak American Quartet\Dvorak American Quartet 08.mp3
The file is called DvorakAmer.m3u
all i did was use desktop manager and loaded my music onto my BB. i then just copies the music folder from my media card onto my playbook over wifi. Now my pb has exactly everything myhone has.
I use the dreaded itunes:eek:, but I am able to copy over all of my playlists using DM.
Connect PB with USB to WinPC
Browse to the Z:\Music
Open Windows Media Player (Alt > View > Library) with a playlist on the right
Drag and drop my MP3 from z:\Music to the "unsaved playlist" area
On the top right of the window, I click on the icon and I have the option to "Save list as ..."
Change ... Save as type "M3U Playlist"
Navigate to Z:\Music and save as an appropriate name.
As many as you like.
Thanks. I have to admit, I have not had Win Media Player open in years!!!!
I was even able to point to:
\\192.168.1.164\media\music (the ip address for my 64gig pb) and add that music and create a playlist in that folder.
