How can I install older version of playbook os? I installed the latest update in September and the screen brightness minimum setting became very bright to the extent that it affects my eyes. There is no sreen adjustment app in the blackberry app world and the android apps sideloaded couldn't work.
Look in the rooting section. I'm unsure if you can anymore.
a security wipe will drop it down to 2.0.4 depending on how old it is, a fresh update might sort it out afterwards.

You'd have to find an autoloader for an older version of PBOS (newer than 2.1.0.1282) and run that. It'll wipe your device, but it will restore you to an older OS.

that's what all three of mine do before demanding an update and what the internet told me. does it just reset the figures and not the software then?
