I got a 6ft, 15ft, and an adapter from monoprice a while ago. The 6ft one doesn't work at all, the 15ft one works, but even the slightest touch to the cable and it cuts in and out. The adapter works the best for me, but it doesn't even work very good with my nice hdmi cord that I have for my computer.
I went to Staples and bought a 6ft cable (was more than all 3 things from monoprice) and it works fantastic. No cutting in and out when playing games and such.
Sorry that ridesno had a bad experience with Monoprice, but I've purchased LOTS of cables and other adaptors and switchers from them and never had a negative experience. On the one occasion that I received a defective switcher, their CS was first rate and quickly shipped a new one at no cost to me.
I bought my micro hdmi to hdmi cable at Amazon for under $5 and it works fine, but don't remember the brand or vendor. However my friend got a really cheap 6' cable from monoprice that had the cutting out issue unless it was connected just exactly right.
+1 for monoprice. I left my 15 foot HDMI to Micro-HDMI at a hotel and it cost me almost as much for them to ship it back to me as I paid for it AND a 6 footer from monoprice.

I got an elcheapo 8 foot one from amazon($2.95 + S&H) and when I connected it, my PB went all haywire, started opening and closing apps, keyboard would popup and close, options would open on its own, and so on. Emailed the company I ordered from and they quickly replied(within 5 minutes) with "Sorry but it seems as though you received a defective cable, we will mail you a new one in the morning at no charge". Working great now, and at $5 with S&H you can't go wrong.

I'm not sure if this is a joke or not... But I will comment anyways . HDMI is a digital signal so as long as the run isn't too long you will get exactly the same picture and audio with a 4$ cable and a 200$ cable.
Canucks - I just bought 2 @6ft for $10.46; included tax&shipping via amazon.ca. Shipped and received (in Ontario) in 4days. GTXMax Micro HDMI to HDMI 6ft
The cable worked as expected. Solid construction.
Edit: note: they raised the price a couple bucks this week to $7.88 includes tax&shipping

Versus the Monster and other brand cables that now cost almost as much as a new, low-priced, PB!!!
