    Hey everyone,
I purchased my PlayBook used a while back, and the person who sold it to me didn't do a wipe of the device. I can't sign into my BBID, because it is saying I have to sign into the original BBID before I can change it. Is there a way to get around this? I don't mind doing a wipe of the device if that'll clear up the problem. If it will, how do I go about doing it?

The only way to change the BBID is to wipe it clean.
Go to the playbook options (top right icon), then "Security", then "Security Wipe".
After it finishes, it will boot up as if it's right out of the box.
Just make sure you have wifi when you're booting up for the first time as it will ask you to setup your BBID and you will not be able to finish without it.
