MY BB TORCH (1st one) - DIED!!! What is the fastest blackberry that I can get. I put this here because I have a playbook too. I have to get this taken care of today because I leave on vacation tomorrow morning.
If you still have your Bold 9000, it will work with the Playbook. The Torch is probably the best, but if I had to pay for a new phone, I would wait until the Bold 9900 comes out and just use your Bold 9000 until then. If it is a warranty replacement, just go with the Torch.
I just gave my son my old Bold 9000 and with the latest OS on the Bold (look for a link to it on the Bold 9000 forum here) the Bold 9000 seems to work well with the Playbook.
I am sorry - I had not updated my device. I only have the Torch. My bold went to my daughter and it is now gone. It's my Torch that is dead and I have no other phone to go to.
