ahahahaha! well, the secret is unlocked. and now i need a bricked board. any one willing to sending me a bricked board? i am in india. if you want help i can help you with whatever little knowledge i got/learned/acquired as of now.
would project_x now send me a working board or bricked board. i would preffer a bricked board. its more fun ressurecting it like phoenix.
if you are in india and you got a bricked playbook and out of warranty i am here to help you out.
and secondly i offer no warranty or anything of any sort. i will use the gplised tool to do as much as i can. i am not here to charge you money for the service. well a mug of coffee will do. :-D
so if you are in india and willing to send your device all the way to chennai aka madras, i can try to bring your firmware/bootrom issue fixed and rooted for FREEEEEEEEEE!
boy o boy i cant wait to get my hands on a bricked device and see it boot up.
if you need debian (errrrrrrr i hate ubuntu, but still i can try to install ubuntu for you) and i am sure with this info out many android developers already out to root their bootrom, so i will let android developers do the trick for you.

if you want i can port ios to BB but is it worth the effort, considering i dislike ios. well fun fun and adventure? yes for sure. but i cannot promise long term support. i will also look into the request on how to repack the binary to bar so it can be installed onto a playbook.

There is no way you can change the OS on the PlayBook. I know you didn't really want to hear it, but that's how it is at this moment.

i dont have a windows machine. so i cant test it. i have only debian jessie or sid on all my machines and 2 with netbsd.
so i cant test it.

just hold for 10 mins more and you will most likely hear a failure. since i never succeeded in the first attempt. if i fail i will try again. till i succeed and most importantly i understood the logic well enough. and can crackberry allow me some space and also remove this nagging 60 sec wait. since this is a hot business i need to reply often thanks to the 60 sec break which i am getting per post is really daunting.
