I don't think you will see a PlayBook update untill the BB10 phones are available everywhere. So probably end of March or so.

If Playbook will be updated with BB10, i dont think they will bring modifications on it, we will have it as it is, i think this will be sooner

How about just releasing a 4G/4G LTE Playbook in the US? Hasn't that been "coming soon" since summer?

Sounds about right to me. Also in line with other comments.

I hope it doesn't come too soon or it will simply be the same screen set up for both devices like the iPhone / iPad where there is 16 icons per screen regardless of the screen real estate available. I would prefer to see a Playbook OS10 that will take advantage of the screen size, eight live tiles versus four or something like that. Until then my PlayBook now is the same as it was a month ago; useful and handy. I can wait.

One thing that comes to mind is that the new Z10 comes with 2GB of memory. I am wondering how well the PB will do with one.

We don't really need BB10 on the PlayBook...
All we need is all of that Adobe Air garbage off of it, and support for BB10 apps.
    That is really everything...

The only thing that comes to mind for me as a benefit to having 10 on playbook is maybe a better browser and more game apps for all the younguns who got BB as Christmas gifts. Just having the phones having video chat is huge. If Comwave updates their ephone so it rings when the app is closed would be huge for us and them. Who needs Skype? Not I or anyone i know.
