You eyes will be shot if you tried to read a novel the same way you would on a kindle.
    I don't buy that for a second.

My reading list in the past couple of weeks:

A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens
    Treasure Island - RL Stevenson
    The Chimes - Dickens
1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue - Francis Grose
Classical Education: The Stuff You Wish You'd Been Taught at School - Caroline Taggert
From the Earth to the Moon; and, Round the Moon - Jules Verne
The Mystery of Edwin Drood - Charles Dickens.

All done via the Kindle app on either the iPhone or Playbook.

As well as studying with a Powershell book.

, when I had an iPAQ, I read all the Dune books, and all the Harry Potter books (I think there were four out at the time) on it.

I have to go with Quarky_UK, I have read 8 novels (short fantacy) in about as many days and no eye strain with the backlight at about 3/4 (yes, I consume books when I take out time to read for pleasure).
