has gmail got any better?

I love my playbook and use it daily. Although the lag time using facebook can be annoying I can deal with it. What gets me is the native email or lack of. I am currently running OS 2.1.0.1526 and when I set up my gmail account it drained the battery and the set up and feel was so unlike that on my Bold 9650. I truly enjoy email on my 9650 and wonder will Blackberry Playbook ever sort it out. What do you lot think?

My Gmail is working great. I also just noticed that the email on my PlayBook goes back to Dec.22/12. Previously it only went back a max if 30 days.

Gmail is my primary email account and I have not had any issues with it on my PlayBook.

No problems with mine either. My Gmail accts and Outlook are doing great and sync with my 9930 without a hitch. Make sure to go into your account settings and select Push, not Sync interval. That will drain your battery, especially with a weak or slow signal.

I have Gmail and Hotmail setup on Native mail and both work great.
