Why not try freemake? Because Handbrake is the best. ;)
I had that when I tried to RIP a DVD using Handbrake. Once I was running AnyDVD, it worked fine.
I use the available preset for blackberry Playbook as per attached picture of 1024x600.
When you click blackberry output parameter option, click on the device picture of the bb phone, scroll down of other bb phone models and click playbook picture. (refer to attached image)
For me quality is good plus with one click subtitle options, GUI ease of use and fast.
Thanks for that additional info.
If I could ask, I would prefer to convert to AVI rather than mp4. That way I could burn them as data to a dvd disk and play them on by dvd player. I guess in this case AVI is more universal as my dvd player will not recognize mp4 or mkv formats and the pb can also play avi. Suggestions for settings in that case?
Not sure what you meant since we are already converting dvd to other type of files. so you already have the dvd on the first place. :D
I have not try converting to avi yet, but there's custom options in freemake for avi beside the 7 preset avi options (refer attachment).
However, it is easier to refer to http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartp..._(English).pdf
P/s : OP, sorry because I'm getting off topic.
