Only to find out many places are $699 or higher. The crappy thing is that he's already carries a blackberry & loves it. We got to discussing it because he was going to buy a kindle.

He just bought a new 64g off ebay for $250. I offered to let him borrow mine overnight & told him all the pros of an Android tablet, but just like me, he couldn't pass up all it does for the price. He's had his blackberry tour for over 2 yrs and wouldn't part with it.

He wants to buy a Kindle? if its for reading Kindle books then the Playbook is probably not a great recommendation.

Main use won't be to read books; a lady in his office has a kindle fire & was showing it off. Pro's of an Android tablet? I just wanted to make sure he knew the limitations of apps. While I really enjoy my playbook, I wanted him to be fully aware of what else was out there.
