Wow, glad to see there are actually so many of us out thee in RIM world that have had no problems. I got mine at the DC Release Event 18 months ago. I have had no issues since then. I only have one sideloaded app- kindle! I love my PBC and the way it works so well with my 9850 Torch. However, I can't wait for BB10 and my new Z10 phone.

I've had my PlayBook since launch. I've had 0 problems and use it everyday. Very happy with it. I can't wait until it gets bb10, which will make it all that more useful.

Love my PlayBook. Got a 32g for Christmas last year and have put it through the paces When I got it I put a Otter box on it then went to the mini keyboard case then truly fell in love with just the bare PlayBook. I take mine every where. It has been dropped kicked and all and I have not had one issue with it. I am so happy with it that this Christmas I asked Santa for 64g as I knew I would never use another tablet and hence I am writing from it. Now I have in my opinion the best tablet with loads of room. Works flawless with my Torch 9810. I am a BlackBerry fan forever looking forward to bb10. Going to be a great addition to this 64g powerhouse.

Mine is fairly new and basic virgin.... No side loading or anything like that.only issue is appointments will no longer show in native calendar but the reminders do come out even though I can't see the appointments. I plan to call RIM and hope for easy fix. Other than that pretty smooth. I. Think we should do our best to keep this thread up top because it quite obvious there are some posting with bad intention just to have a negative thread title always floating up top.

Original bb owner since inception. Now it's a bb family of 2 9780's, 1 9900 and 2 playbooks!

No issues with pb's, one a year old, other 6 mths and just the replacement of batteries for the bb's. Counting the days to upgrade to bb10!

Same here. As an old iphone, then Android guy I wanted to go back to my beloved Blackberry's because of simplicity. I have since given my iphones away and have a 9900 and a 64g palybook.

I have had zero problems and love them so far! Well except, I have to pay for the mobile hotspot thing from ATT....
Why do you have to pay for Hotspot? Doesn't Bridge work?

Purchased my 64G a few months ago in the UK for 129. Had absolutely no problems at all. Convinced 2 people at work to buy it since then.. Just by showing them and didn't have to try. They just saw it.. Had a browse and decided it was brilliant and so much better value than an ipad. Brilliant tablet and can't wait for BB10. In fact I'm typing this on it right now in sunny Dubai.

    I love it.

Bridge works fine. I was just told (and from what I read) that I have to have the hotspot service in order to use internet out in the field? Am I missing something? I am in California? App?

    Thanks for the help!

I have had mine for 15 months or so. Use it everyday for work and leisure. Not a single problem. I know of 8 other people who have one and none of them has ever mentioned having a problem with their device. I (and I believe the other 8 people also) have never sideloaded anything and do not intend to.

7 so far, 3 as gifts and 4 for the family, no major issues. Best bang for the buck and always show that off at every opportunity. Once BB10 gets loaded I doubt you will find many used ones for sale, at least not at present prices.

Forgot to add, the. 1080 video recording outside in daylight is stunning!

I thought it was one of the sticky forum posts, but I guess lots of people don't know about it.
You should use the generic Bridge app on your BB phone. AT&T is a despicable company for charging money for what is free on most other carriers.
Cancel that Hotspot feature (unless you need App World out and about)
Delete the Bridge app on your phone
Then go to http://rroyy.com and download the correct one for your phone OS version

The only thing I had was the cameras stopped working, sent it for repair and RIM sent a brand new replacement. Since then I have no problems. Two here.

Well I started with a 64GB in Summer 2011. Then rapidly expanded and bought for family and extended family to where we collectively have 17 playbooks now. The majority are paired with BlackBerry phones.

So far only Google Latitude side loaded on a few of them and with no issues.

None of the 17 have had any issues.

These can only get better when BB10 arrives.

Me too - they've been great. I had the first one for a year which worked beautifully and I passed that on to my sister who loves it. I bought myself a new 64 and once again no problems and they've had a lot of use in the house, in the shop, in the truck and on the boat.

    Thanks for starting this thread.

5 Playbooks in the house and no issues. Bridging on four of them - 2 Torches (9810/9800), Bold 9700 and a Curve 9360 again no problems what so ever. Best spent money we've ever made to the amount that we use them. The best valued product out there
