- Something odd just happened with my pb, I'd clicked on a CrackBerry video through the app, stopped it but didn't close the Window, then put the phone on charge and pressed the power button to suspend.
A few minutes later I looked over and the screen was illuminated, went over, pressed the button and it went back to sleep.
Then without warning it woke again and began playing the minimized video?!?
Closed down the browser, sent it back to sleep, a few moments later its behaving as though the bottom bezel is being swiped upwards opening + closing the icons.
Memory leak? Static build up in the screen? Haunted table?!?
Any ideas??06-18-12 04:52 PMLike 0 - Something odd just happened with my pb, I'd clicked on a CrackBerry video through the app, stopped it but didn't close the Window, then put the phone on charge and pressed the power button to suspend.

Could be just a glitch. Restart your playbook and it'll probably never happen again.
If it does happen again, you might need to call the Ghostbusters!06-18-12 05:26 PMLike 0 - Try moving it further away from the charger or a different outlet. I have to charge my PB in a different location from the rest of my mobile toys because of that issue. Something in the air with all those outlets and converters in one spot. Some people report that behavior near TV's but I don't have that problem near my plasma.06-18-12 05:27 PMLike 0
- kbz1960Doesn't Matter@MrNutt, add the issue you've described to the list of odd behavior that the PB displays at times, usually I reboot when faced with such instances, there are a couple of them that I've learned to avoid by not repeating the behavior on my part that leads to them, i.e. I won't drag any app's icon upwards (downwards is OK, the glitch doesn't take place) within a desktop window for more than five or six seconds without pausing, for whatever reason if I exceed that time frame the PB won't allow any downwards scrolling beyond five or six rows of apps icons; another kink I've learned to avoid is visiting CrackBerry's full HTML site on my PB, as doing otherwise brakes my native browser's history beyond the fourth day of such listings, if I do visit the full HTML site the history replicates the fourth day's listing twice and won't retain any history beyond eight days (which is truly seven days including the replicated fourth day) no matter what setting I choose on the browser appropriate preferences. Weird, isn't it?06-18-12 05:31 PMLike 0
- Very odd! I've just been watching it swipe the icons left to right and right to left.
It's sat on the table no more than about 3 inches from my dell laptop's charger, I wonder if it is static?
I'm going to try replicating it and if successful I shall make my millions talking to the dead, swipe left for yes and right for no!06-19-12 02:11 AMLike 0 - Behold! Mediums of the world rejoice! For I have found a way to channel the spirits!
