    I can receive messages on my Playbook but they do not appear on my laptop Windows Mail POP3 account although messages deleted from the Playbook do appear on my laptop.
    I would appreciate any advice.

    Welcome Geoffrey, but search and read is my only advice since I have never had that issue myself, however I am sure that many others have had similar if not the same issue and I'm sure it has been discussed many times here in these forums.

    For strange reason, some mails deleted from PlayBook are not deleted immediately when you try to check them out using laptop or desktop PC... it is probably depend on your synchronization interval set-up on PlayBook... let say, if you set it up every 30 minutes, the deleted mail from your PB is still not (yet) deleted from your email account unless the synchronization is immediately as in using normal laptop or desktop PC...

    It just personal observation...
