Well, I have tried to see if there are other people thinking the same way I do and I did not found any on the sites which have an article about the Firefox tablets, so I am asking you: don't you think the Firefox Tablet Homescreen looks like the PB ? If so, I found it quite unfair for Firefox to copy BB, but on the other hand, I think we can say that our PB user interface is not outdated FireFox \ Playbook, same thing, no?-firefox-os-tablet-2-625x1000.jpg

It certainly does! Let's see how well it does, or doesn't do, as the case maybe...

indeed it looks very familier, but to have apps in a greyed out bar is hardly unique if I'm not mistaken webos also had a very similar design, some wouldnsay we copied the multitasting cards.

Yes, you are right... I have forgotten about the cards. But still, launching an os with a 2011 interface means that ui was (and is) very good and it can compete with the 2013 tablets, right?

I agree and disagree, this is but a small piece of the UI. the playbooks software and UI minus the software restraints are still very usable here in 2013, worlds ahead that archaic ios stuff

the bottom line is everyone takes cues from everyone when it comes to design, its always been this way and it will always be this way

Blackberry still did it better. This looks a little childish IMO. And if they don't have much apps are they going to tell their users to just use the browser? It is Firefox after all, no?

The new user interface for the Firefox desktop browser looks like Google Chrome so copying is not off limits for Mozilla. Just search fot "australis firefox" and have a look.

Does look a lot like webOS and that may be the 10" size pictured. Mozilla expects apps to operated off the web primarily. Some apps will of course reside on the tablet.
