    Well one of my 8 x 64gb PlayBooks would not charge past 41%, spent quite a bit of time with tech support reloading the OS and other stuff which did not fix the problem. Got an RMA, Fed-Ex was here on Monday. Today Fed-Ex arrived with a brand new Playbook. Now that is what I call service.

    BlackBerry you ROCK!

    Swapping hardware by Blackberry is a piece of cake, getting them to fix the multitude of software bugs or to release BB10 within whatever lifetime is left for the Playbook is the biggest letdown.

    While some people can Btch about the playbook software (me included)

    No one can complain about playbook repair service whether under warranty or not.

    How the hell did you manage this ?
    My 6 month old PB will not charge up at all . Called them today and was told it is not covered by the warranty and I will have to pay to get it fixed PLEASE tell me who you spoke to !!!

    Was there a reason? Is the usb port damaged or is the connector inside the port bent or slanted? (how the hell did hell slip by the auto-censor? )

    It's a call center so can't remember the names of the reps I dealt with. All my connectors work fine so they could not deny warranty

    Try calling again assuming the usb connector is not broken.

    OP I have had the same experience with then Rim. I had a magnetic charging issue and the whole process was painless and my PlayBook was out, repaired and back to me in less than 5 days.
