I haven't seen this problem mentioned before, but I need help. My 64 gb Playbook was purchased shortly after they first came out. I have loved using it ever since, but a month or so ago I started seeing pastel colors on the screen as if the vibrant colors were being bleached out of the screen. It's almost as if the color on the screen is fading away. It usually happens after the Playbook has been on for awhile or has been on the charging dock.

Has anyone else experienced this or heard about it? My fear, of course, is that my Playbook is breathing it's last breaths. Please tell me it ain't so!!

I can't say I've heard of that happening. But it sure sounds like your lcd or your digitizer is going. With the price of used playbooks I doubt it would be worth repairing. Just use it until it dies completely!
