I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I get the above error when I try to stream Fox News Live video. Can it be done?

Flash is enabled. Can't find a desktop mode switch in settings. I've tried the default browser, Origami, and Maxthon. None of them work.

In Origami, tap the settings icon (upper right corner). The first one is desktop. If a blue bar is underneath, it is selected. Then make sure firefox is set as your desktop user agent. If that doesn't work, it may require Silverlight, which PB doesn't support.

There is a good TV app that I think has Fox on it. I'll have to check when I get home.

I didn't know how to adjust desktop mode in the stock browser. All the settings in Origami are correct. I've even tried changing user agents. It's only Fox News; other sites stream fine.

Well, I assume you are trying to get to live.foxnews.com. It won't play on PB with Simple Browser either. So that is the last browser. If it is any solice, it won't play on android either. So I have to think it is a Silverlight issue. That TV app I mentioned (I have the paid version) has that website but doesn't play either. It does have a Fox News website that does play. I don't know what the url is for that one, however. snow_stipple's link is weird. It asked me to update my flash player on my PC, which I know is current. Then it asked me to click to a non-Adobe site so I aborted. Don't trust that one. .

I got the link through Squid TV which has a lot of tv sites listed. This was the first for Fox and there wasn't anything to click onto, just scroll down a bit to get the stream.

Both the Fox site and the Squid site don't have any warnings on either McAfee SiteAdvisor or Norton Safe Web.
