".. Should I take the risk knowing that once I open the product from OD, I won't be able to return it? "
When I purchased my 64gb a while back ... had reading the previous months via CB forum about 'the bulge', the recessed button, and a scratched edge/seal .... as soon as I paid for the unit and then strolled straight over to their customer service counter where I opened (factorysealed unit) to confirm none of these issues existed before packing everything up and theeen heading out the door. IF there had been a prob' I would have called over a csr to do a exchange with the other 64 still bk. on the shelf ... IF it has sold right behind me I would have asked for a ful refund since it was opened instore on cct
My new playbook does not have the bulge in the back or the blueish tint. But the thing that's bugging me is that the screen is not very responsive compare to my old Playbook. I have to swipe several times(specially left or right) before anything happens. Luckily, I bought my Playbook using my American Express card which has a 90 day return policy incase the merchant does not take an item back. Hopefully a few more reboots will fix this problem. If not, I have to reconsider whether to exhange it at OD or just getting a refund through my credit card.

Reason: added the after BUT
I wish I would have seen these, we probably would have picked up another one when we were in a town with several Office Depot's. That's where I bought my 1st 64gb.
Sadly all the Office Depot's in my area have all packed up and left.... I would trade in my 32GB one for a 64GB one.
I think they also mentioned the $199 pricing for the 64GB version in Anders Jeppsson's "BlackBerry 10, if you are serious about gaming!" presentation as well
I picked one up - and just to report there is no bulge on the back and the screen is perfect. I do not think these were made from "cheaper parts". The power button is actually better than my 32GB unit. Anyway - great deal - no compromises

MIne looks good as well actually the power button seems perfectly set compared to mt 16 gig
.. place the unit on a flat surface !
Does it wobble or spin easily like a carousel !
Congrats, your unit has a 'baby bump' !! Either "Don't walk but drive very fast to your" tah shame the reseller in a exchange for reason/finding(s) stated within prev. threads, or nuture for 9-12 months when it may just give birth to a shiny BB10
Office Depot has a Buyer Protection Plan at a reasonable price. It is only good up to 7 days after purchase, and unfortunately i threw away the brochure, so I'll have to check it out again.

I forgot that I only have a charger not a rapid charger. It's at 2% now. Not worried anymore lol. I almost performed a hard reset on my PB a couple hours ago
