A couple of posts contained the claim that dead pixel(s) are very common on Playbooks. Are they? Let's find out from PB owners here. It will be an open poll so that non PB owners trying to troll can be identified.

i have one right in the center...its lightly..only see if on black background. i dont really notice it. sure its not suppose to be there...but i guess i dont really care anymore.
Never, unless I just don't see it.
I have one, hardly anything to cry about though.
No dead pixels for me... thank God!
Did you give it a name? I had a dead pixel on my Dell Vostro. I named him Steve. :)
dead pixel and dust under the screen..... I don't even care anymore. I just use it and gotten over it
I don't want to jinx mine!
lol i thought the same thing....im looking for some wood to knock on but all of our furniture is this damn ikea crap
guys check your pb again.put your brightness full blast and download some apps for dead pixel checker.i thought i dont have dead pixels but i actually have couple.
had one then ran the hdtv calibrater app and cycled thru the colours and it 'fixed it'
None, on the day I got it I downloaded Display Test and ran it along with min to max brightness adjustments to check (along with other hardware tests).
What a coincidence... bought a Playbook today as a gift for my fianc, lo and behold it had a couple dead pixels! Exchanging tomorrow. Generally speaking, if you start without any, you won't get any, but if you start with some, it probably won't go away. Just a heads up.
Nope, never had a dead pixel.
Had two, but were very faint and ran screen helper to get rid of them:D
Has anyone seen any hot pixels? Always on? They are worse. They would have to be named by color. Reddy, Greeny, Blooy. Never heard a complaint as they would more likely be caught at the factory I suppose..
what's screen helper?
In app world, search screen helper"
Free version is "lite" and only runs 2mins or so
Full version can run for hours that may be needed for "stuck" pixels.
If I need that to find out, well............ I guess I'm not bothered by it now so I don't want to find out as I'd probably be seeing it all the time when I don't now lol.
I have/had one... it seems to have mostly gone away though which is odd.
I was originally really bothered by it but after a day I really didn't care anywhere near as much
If I have to go through all that to see them, then my response is - who cares....
Hello world.
None, and even double-checked with Display Test app. :)
what apps do u use to "fix" them?
screen helper.
Haven't had any dead pixels on either my old playbook, or my new one.
