Does anyone know when BlackBerry 10 releases for PlayBook?
- I'm not that naive, I'm well aware there are a bunch of people on this site that are here for the single purpose of.bashing blackberry.
Some people just need to know when to move on. if a product does not suit your needs anymore you find something new.
its been a long long time since I've been in grade 6, but I've never forgot a quote from my home room teacher she said "if who you are is what you have and what you have is taken away who are you?" sounds like too many people. ase who they are on their "things" when in reality they should base who they are on their inner qualities and further improving yourself as a person.
I strongly believe this is the reason we have soo many "trolls" and people who find nothing better to do and bash a fan site where people come to work out issues and talk about the thing they love in this case Blackberry.
I understand bb10 is not perfect nor is the playbook, but its perfect to soooo many people on here who understand updates are coming
so on behalf of everyone who are here because they love blackberry. All you people that are here for the sole purpose of hating on blackberry as andrei clearly sated there are a bunch of There is the door see yourselves out !
blackberry users and blackberry platform would be just great if devices ..legacy that is , wouldn't be experiments on other peoples money !
they would unique perfect if they would be stable !
they would kill the market if it wouldn't have memory leak !
am i that hard to understanding ?
i am not a troll nor a bb basher !
that does not mean i dont have the right to tell about the problems BlackBerry have for so much time !
******* name me a blackberry critic or anticrist if you're such passionate about etiquette people

Someone opens a thread like this one for instance. You read the thread and it's the same old boring stuff like this one is. You visit the thread again later and someone has posted a comment that you don't like. At that point do you walk away or pull the trigger? It sounds like you pull the trigger. Nobody forces you to read the threads. Nobody forces you to post a comment in reply unless your a moderator which your Avitar clearly states your not. So why get involved if you don't like it? There is always the option to walk away, that option is always available to everyone.05-08-13 11:20 AMLike 0 - I've already given up on the Playbook. Once the Bay Trail Windows 8 tablets enter the market, I'm switching and not looking back. It's a shame because I really like the Playbook, but the October update really botched the browser and javascript. Blackberry has done nothing to address the issue.HelliS22 likes this.05-08-13 11:47 AMLike 1

Now is probably the best time to buy a PlayBook. They are cheap, high quality, and will be having BB10 on them. On a more subjective note, I would stay away from Android tablets/phones all together. They just don't have high quality for build (imo) and the tons of apps are mostly really cheap apps that nobody really even wants (ie "sexy babes" or "fart-a-matic"), or a few good apps with 10x crap apps that attempt to do the same thing. I think the quality control on the apps are horrible. Google also has zero support.
I would go with PlayBook 1st due to price, quality, BB10, support, and functionality. Then the iPad 2nd, Touchpad 3rd (its discontinued but supposedly has a big community and is a full size tablet). I don't know much about the Windows tablet, but I would give that more of a chance than an Android tablet. I wish PlayBook could have gotten iPad ports rather than Android (or ideally more native apps!)... I believe that is making it look and function a lot more junky.
As for Heins himself saying BB is committed to delivering BB10 for the Playbook, **He did** on CNBC just a month and a half ago.
I would probably advise newbies to return their PlayBooks and get a Nexus 7 I would say the same thing about an HP Touchpad too.
A flawed product is a flawed product, sorry. The problem with fan-oriented sites like CB is that most people end up pretending everything's OK and working around problems, instead of pointing out those problems in the first place. Most of the PlayBook's problems stem from BB doing nothing to fix things and using "BB10 is coming soon!" as a convenient excuse.
If I had an issue with a forum member, I would name him and not sneak off to report him to a moderator. Have some decorum at least members and stop bashing people. You never know, as an eminent writer once said, "An intelligent man can sit down with a complete ***** and talk for twenty minutes and when he walks away he has learned something new!".
I suggest that all you member bashers out there start a thread and name the people you class as trolls and at lease stand up for what you type about them secretly in your bedroom. At least you will gain respect and be able to come out of the darkness and be counted.Barracuda7772 and WeAreNotAlone like this.05-08-13 12:45 PMLike 2 - From this!
To this?
Who is right and who do you shoot? I thought a discussion had differing points of view but perhaps we should just shoot the one that says something we don't agree with. After all its easier and we are all anonymous so we can be as brave as we want. I was always taught to confront your accusers but that's slightly difficult on here. It's getting a little like Facebook with 16yr olds making comments just because they can do.

I'm off back in six weeks so feel free to voice your opinion on my new thread.05-08-13 01:19 PMLike 0
- Nexus7 is nice and JB 4.2.2 is a pleasant operating system. It has OTG withe help of Nexus Media Importer but it also has no HDMI, no micro sd port, no rear camera, only fair battery life and lousy speakers. Wait for the next model and see if these lacks are corrected.05-08-13 02:52 PMLike 0
- Guys, if we just live next to each other or living in the same city, I will invite you all for a drink... a cool, chiller, icy drinks...
...with pastries (of course)...

- Can the PB support BB10? I think there might be a RAM issue (only 1gb). If I'm not mistaken, the original Dev Alpha devices had 1gb and they were laggy (which is one of the reasons BB upped the RAM to 2gb). Can anyone back me up on this?05-10-13 08:49 AMLike 0
- It has been discussed. That device was an alpha and the OS was still developing. But anything anyone says would remain speculation until and if bb10 is released for the pb.05-10-13 08:59 AMLike 0
- Hope so my Pornbook seems to be lagging on adult sites in last few months.

- With all the new OS leaks that we're seeing for the Z10, it got me thinking, is it possible to create a hybrid of the new BB10 and the current PlayBook OS to give us the new OS ahead to any possible release? Since they're both QNX in th end, can the two OS be combined to have the best of both?
