At one point I had about 20 PlayBooks. Got one for each of our BES 5 upgrades. I gave a bunch to my colleagues, and sold a few others that I had gotten. After all the giveaways and sold ones, I now only have 1 16gb PlayBook. I also have an iPad and a Nexus 7, so I'm still doing ok with tablets. :)
By my calculations we have around 30% of total Playbook sales on this thread.... :p
I've got a 64 GB for personal/business use and a 16 GB that I keep loaded with kid, entertainment and educational apps. I use the 16 GB only when I volunteer with my pet therapy dogs or when friends' kids come to visit. Helps to protect the integrity of my PB and allows me to share all of its awesomeness with others! :-)
I have 32G and paid $539 in August 2011. I love it and use it more than laptop now. Got my son the same for Christmas this year 2012 for $149! Wow! He was thrilled. Also just got The Source deal for BlackBerry mini keyboard $47.99 for each of us a couple weeks ago.
Hoping to upgrade to BB10 phone very soon :)
Can't post here because there is another thread asking if I was disappointed with my Playbook...I belong there.
We have 3 PlayBooks in the household right now. My son and I both have the 16GB and my wife has a 32 GB. My son recently dropped his and cracked the screen up something fierce so I am likely going to buy me a 32GB one and give him mine as a replacement.
We have 3 in my house, me, my brother and sister all have one and we love them. The apps are quite good and i use mine mostly for browsing and twitter. Would like to get another before they completely disappear. I'd use it for music and pictures, and constantly keep it hooked up to my stereo on a dock.
