And of course what he means by that, is that the OS and Core Apps use some of the advertised capacity (i.e., a 64GB Playbook will never have 64GB available to the user, a 16GB will never have 16GB free etc.). So in order to see 16GB free, you'd have to have at least a 32GB playbook (where you could have not only 16GB, but upwards of 28-29GB free lol)

And remember to leave a couple of GB empty else it will run like a snail in molasses. That gives you no more than 10 GB usable. Hope you fill it before the os gets out of date.

It also has a lot to do with how you define a gigabyte. The drive manufacturers use different definitions of that term than the OS developers (Microsoft, Apple, etc.) do. For an explanation of this, see Glyph - Support - Warranty
