Just got a note back from Digitally Imported (Digitally Imported - addictive electronic music) regarding whether or not they will either create a native Playbook app or port over their Android version of their app to the Playbook. Digitally Imported, for those who dont know, streams electronic music.

Sadly, the answer is a definitive no.

    "Hello XXXXX

Unfortunatley, we wont be developing for the Blackberry Playbook, we are focusing our resources elsewhere.

    Kind Regards,

Oh well; it's not that big of a loss seeing how you can stream their stations from Shoutcast but was hoping that a native app would be in the cards.

Edit: Opps, I was being stupid; this should have been posted in the Playbook Apps/Games forum instead of the general Playbook forum. Apologies for that.

Meh, I have stopped listening to that station since youtube came on the scene. Give the playbook pls support and let the media player play the stream.

You can still listen to all the digitally imported streams on the playbook via shoutcast.

Go to Free Internet Radio - SHOUTcast Radio - Listen to Free Online Radio Stations and search for "digitally imported".
