I'm sick and tired of waiting for it's release since September 2010.
Not a single mention of release date..
I hope this product will fail miserably.
There have been many hints as to an approximate release time.
Because you are impatient, you want the device to fail?
I think you will be disappointed, RIM's model of not storing PIM data on the initial device will be something that makes it work very nicely in medical/insurance/Law fields, Combined with the pricepoint we are seeing, compared to the Android competitors currently announced it looks like it will be a successful product.

Seriously dude though, just because it didn't come out the day before it was announced doesn't mean it should fail. It's called taking their time to perfect it.

I think RIM has a target market in mind that's a bit different than you seem to be... Serious users who aren't buying on a whim but are looking for a product to do the job for them.

They have said over and over and over Q1, so theres ya release date right there, they even said it when they announced it, so i dont know why people are getting frustrated over this

Get over your whining or go check out the Palm Pixie!
the map you refer to is a CDMA map, not a total RIM roadmap.
also why would anyone wanna go hp/palm? think about it, they stood on stage and said `the Pre2 is out tomorrow, oh heres the Pre3 coming in summer` way to kill your own products lol

Unlike Apple, who incessantly teases their customers about the latest and greatest yet to come, and ultimately underwhelms them after long months of unconfirmed rumors and speculations. A better title for this thread would be:

Thank you for getting my chill pill Pic up while I'm not at the computer! :P

Erm, that is so awesome? Please may I be unoriginal and use it myself? Or will I have to pay a licensing fee like Google will apparently have to pay Oracle?
Every time I read people whine about how they are desperately waiting for the release of a LUXURY item, it reminds me how ****** up our modern society is.
Meanwhile, in other parts of the world, millions carry the same desperation in finding food to sustain their family for one more week.

Once more it is notable that the OP has simply started an incredibly negative thread and then just walked away. This seems to be happening more and more. I am wondering what type of person does this.
- a moron
- an Apple or Android fanboi
- someone bored
- a mental deficient
- a spoiled child
In any event I am glad that people are having fun with ChillPills and hurt feeling reports. Far, far better than all the negativity, imo

This is very true!
Also if its a product you want so much why would you want it to fail?
i'm not sure, i think he's translating "die" to "the" in german (die playbook! die)-> (the playbook! the) however i thats not right. regardless this thread was inappropriate to start. it may be a long wait, but good things take time. not wishing things to fail or die.
