With all of the newbies coming in I am interested in the effect of the recent discounts on sales of playbook as there seems to be some left over illusion that playbook isn't selling well. I contend that it is selling better now at a lower price point, even before 2.0. This will end before devcon so that the effects of OS 2.0 are not factored in.

Please hold comments on how the poll is structured, as you are welcome to conduct your own poll.
I understand that some people were given PBs by their company or friends or relatives, if so don't vote.
Only interested in original purchasers.

Had mine for a week now... Getting to like it more and more each day. I do find it funny how I can use my Apple mouse and keyboard perfectly with my PB, but I could NEVER use anything that wasn't made by Apple with my iPad.

Telus team store deal + $100 MasterCard x 2. Wife and I now both have 32gb PlayBooks.

I did however pay full pop back on launch day for 64gb....but alas I was unimpressed at that point at returned it. Now I couldn't be happier with it....

...and now Imgoing to put this iPad down and return to my regularly scheduled PlayBook time. Not sure what all the iOS 5 fuss is about and this split keyboard is bloody annoying.

Got one the first week they came out, I liked it but just didn't seem comfortable that i spent that much money on something with barley any apps so I returned it. Then when they became $200 off i jumped all over it. Playbook is the only tablet i have ever owned

have been loosely following the playbook from day one. got all kinds of excited when sears dropped the price to just under $400 a couple months back. that only heightened my desire. from then, convinced myself i'd leap all over the first 16gb i could find for under $400. with the 64gb being my desired device, applied some twisted logic in following up on the best buy labor day sale.

the online buying process made me more anxious than necessary and had a little hiccup setting up the device delivered. exchanged that for another and all better now. mostly pleased, waiting to take my first trip with my new toy and optimistic as to the promise of os2.0.

I got a 16gb PB at Staples a few weeks ago for $249 - $50 credit back to my new Staples CC for net cost of $199, but would have got the 32gb or 64gb version if I had known that I was gonna get a 16gb version for $99 earlier this week at cspire.

got mine two weeks ago. 32GB for $250 , rogers employee discount through my cousin. Would never have bought one at regular price. I absolutely love it, goes everywhere i go and it pairs well with my 9900!

We to Bestbuy to pick up the 16g while on sale for $299 they had none in stock. Manager ended up giving me the 64gig for the sale price of the 16gig.

I bought mine at full price end of August and price matched at Best Buy for 299.00 16 gig. Thanks to CrackBerry Forum I knew a price drop was to hit soon. So in a way CB saved me 200.00! How cool is that?!
